Case Studies

Overview
Between December 2022 and 2025, I successfully organized nine WINFOCUS FoCUS provider courses across Pakistan—eight in Lahore and one in Karachi—training and certifying over 250 doctors in focused cardiac ultrasound.
WINFOCUS (World Interactive Network Focused on Critical UltraSound) is a globally recognized leader in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) education, promoting ultrasound use in emergency, critical care, and resource-limited settings.
🚧 Challenges Faced
- High Course Fee
As an international course, the fee was significantly high for the local market, which is generally price-conscious, especially in medical education. - Low Initial Interest
Physician interest in ultrasound education was limited. Many professionals were unaware of the practical value of FoCUS in routine practice, especially in non-tertiary setups. - Complex Registration and Marketing Requirements
Managing outreach, promotions, and registrations for a niche technical course required specialized strategy and tools. - Expectation of International Standards
Given the global branding of WINFOCUS, expectations were high in terms of professionalism, structure, and quality delivery.
🛠️ Strategy & Solutions
- Developed a Localized Marketing Strategy
Highlighted how FoCUS could enhance patient outcomes in emergency, anesthesia, and ICU environments. Positioned the course as a career-boosting certification. - Designed All Promotional Materials In-House
From social media creatives and course brochures to banners and certificates, every design was created by me to maintain branding and cut down costs. - Streamlined the Registration Process
Set up digital registration forms, handled email campaigns, WhatsApp confirmations, and follow-ups, and managed all logistics and communication personally. - Built Trust Through Content & Communication
Shared the global impact of WINFOCUS, the clinical value of cardiac ultrasound, and testimonials from past participants to boost credibility and drive registrations.
